Too tired to cry

I’m too tired to cry
Too tired to ask why
Maybe it was the look in your eye
When you said goodbye

Expect you said nothing
Laughed like you were bluffing
By morning you were gone
The pages in the book torn

I will never be at your side
But I see your eyes open wide
Forever wet and never dry
Seeing only water flowing by

Your skin is white and pale
Your smell is rotten, stale
And by the slightest touch
You loose a piece of skin or such

You rest at the bottom of sea
You tore yourself from me
And so I'm cracked up again
Lost a lover, lost a friend

And now I’m too tired to cry
Too tired to wonder why
I cannot even die
And therefore
I live
